This girl.

She never really had friends. Well, okay, she does. But most of them are from other classes, courses and schools. It was quite unlucky for her to end up in a class with people whom she knew but not close to or friends with.

She decided that she should stop being lazy and start socializing and making friends. So, she started trying to make friends with her classmates but it felt as if they pushed her away. She thought it was because she didn't put in as much effort. She tried her very best and it failed once again.

Was it because of how she is? Was it because of the fact that she couldn't open up to them? Perhaps there is something in her that is stopping her from opening up to them. Unfortunately, she had no idea what was it.

She then realized that it was the same thoughts she had back then. No matter how much she tried to ignore them, they kept coming back. It haunted her in her sleep. She wished that there is something she could do about it. But honestly, is there really anything that she can do?

I didn't think that people would actually want to be my friend. I thought that after they get to know how I am like, my thoughts, feelings and weird habits, it would push them away even further. Instead, we are here, adding on to the number of years in our friendship. I am happy that they still stayed by my side. Sure, some will come and go - I am still happy to be able to meet them for awhile in my life. I am grateful that there are people who would want to continue to be my friend.
